City of Temple Now Accepting Applications for the Good Neighbor Program
The City of Temple is now accepting applications for the Good Neighbor Program, a community initiative that connects volunteers with residents who need a helping hand!
Whether it’s assistance with lawn care, minor home projects, or even just a friendly check-in, small acts of service can make a big difference in someone’s day.
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Need assistance? Temple residents can sign up to receive help.
- Want to volunteer? Community members can apply to serve as a Good Neighbor.
Volunteers will have access to lawn care equipment at no cost through the Housing Resource Center and will receive a Good Neighbor t-shirt as a thank you for their service.
The program runs from April 1 through October 31, and applications are now open.
Please note: All volunteers must complete a background check.
