When mentioning BSR Plumbing in Temple, Texas, the Blount family is often at the center of the company’s story. The entire family is involved in one way or another with the company. Though they changed their name to BSR Plumbing in 2023, the original title, Blount’s Speedy Rooter, reflects not only their commitment to providing prompt plumbing solutions, but also their founders, Jimmy Blount and his wife, Donna, who founded the team in 1980.

For more than 45 years, the Blount family has run the business, though plumbing has been part of the Blount blood for much longer. Today, Jeff Blount, a third-generation plumber, has taken over his parents’ legacy with integrity, passion, accountability, and enthusiasm.
